And so am I.
Well, okay, not really. I've gained somewhere in the ballpark of 17 pounds, which is less than normal but my doctor isn't concerned because Baby is measuring right in the 50th percentile of babies at her gestational age. But she is surely chunking up in there and she's running out of room. We are in the single digits now - 31 weeks down, 9(ish) to go, and with the holidays upon us, I feel like time is flying past and I am scrambling to keep up.
In the last 6 weeks, I have had three showers. Baby H (and her parents) is so lucky to have so many people who already love her. It has been fun to spend time with a lot of family and friends that I don't get to see very often, and it's - of course - exciting to come home with a pile of new baby things to organize.
With all of this, though, I feel that my life has become a series of lists. Here is a list of my lists:
- Christmas Shopping List
- Presents to Wrap
- Things that Need to be Done Around the House
- Things to Be Done Before Baby Arrives (which includes, as a subheading, Things to Take to the Hospital)
- Things to Do for School
- Things to Buy for Baby
- Things to Return
- Questions for the Doctor
- the nonstop Grocery List
So I guess I'd better go accomplish some of those things. And then take a nap. :)
