Looks like it's time to break out the Christmas cheer.
Nora embraced the holidays by taking her first steps in the direction of the Christmas tree. Several times a day, she points to it and "eh-eh-eh"s in the direction of it so we'll carry her over and let her pull off the breakable ornaments normally out of her reach. We put the non-breakable, hookless ornaments on the bottom and let her play with them. She thinks this is pretty awesome and spends time every day pulling them off, chewing on them, and leaving them on the floor for the dog to munch on later.
On her list for Santa this year: Mommy's cell phone, unrestricted access to Zadie's toy corner and everything in it, and a year's supply of blueberries.
| "Eat this one, Zadie. It's sparkly." |
| Big stuff. She is fairly steady standing, but still just takes a few steps at a time on her own. |
