Sometimes at naptime and bedtime, when I am reading Nora the same stories over and over again, I begin to worry about what would happen if the stories became real. For example, what would happen if there was a big red dog named Clifford? And he was bigger than a house and ate all of that food and chased the lions at the zoo? Wouldn't people be concerned? Would they try to get rid of him? Argue that it was against HOA policy? What would PETA do? Would a zoo take him in? But what if he got out of his pen at the zoo and chased the lions again? Do you think the giraffes would be upset that they weren't the tallest animal anymore?
And let's not even start with Curious George. That monkey can do everything! And wouldn't Curious George get upset when he got to the zoo and his monkey pals were in an exhibit? What would the Man with the Yellow Hat do if Curious George got picked up by Animal Control for climbing buildings and entering apartments that were not his own? And when is The Man in the Yellow Hat going to learn that you can't just tell a monkey to "stay here and don't get into any trouble" while he leaves for hours at a time? And will The Man with the Yellow Hat and the Professor Lady PLEASE JUST GET MARRIED ALREADY? We all know they're in love.
That's all for tonight. I hope you're having a wonderful Tuesday.
